Celebrating those little things (like small writings or taking the time to sit and read) as successes instead of just inherent responsibilities. So important. It made me think about how we are worthy...worthy of grace, change, rest, ruts, and rebirth. Every morning is new....sometimes it is a sleep deprived day for sensory bins and take out. Another day, it’s a purposeful 5am wake up call to have tea alone. Let us all be here for it, every moment.

Love this! ❤️ I followed Simone before I closed my social media accounts, and found her so inspiring and uplifting. It was such a joy to see what she is doing now. She will always stay in my mind as an open-hearted, compassionate source of support - she once offered to pray for anyone who needed it - I was coming to terms with a devastating loss at the time, and her kind words were a huge comfort. Generous is the perfect word ❤️

This part of this interview stopped me in my tracks... “Is the thing I’m saying yes to life-giving, or am I doing it to impress or please others?” I often say yes to far to many things because I think I can do it better than others. How selfish of me to think that what I have to offer is better? I want to transition to a place to where I am saying yes out of a true desire to say yes, rather than obligation or to impress others. Yes seems easier than no at times, but then I burn myself out and wonder who's fault that is. I know my current pace of life and commitments is not sustainable and truly need to look at choices through the lenses of "is this life giving?". Thank you for sharing this interview and this story.

This was great! Simone is really inspiring. And I'm not surprised at all that she sent a weekly devotional text when she was 17.
