Are you loving MY FRIENDS? I could *not* get into it, and I usually love Backman so much! I am anxiously awaiting the second season of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders show on Netflix because I am who I am, and Outrageous on BritBox because I have an unhealthy obsession with the Mitford sisters!
I AM loving it, but mostly because of the commentary on art. 😉 It feels like Art is a character in itself? Kind of obsessed with that literary choice. I have never even heard of BritBox but that show looks amazing! I'm making a note to do a 7-day trial when the whole season is done so I can binge it in a week which is my favorite way to watch anything 🤣
I didn't love GBBL either and without a doubt My Friends will be one of my favorite reads of the year! I recently watched Motorheads on Amazon and LOVED it!
Girl, SAME. We bought Presley a bike with training wheels two years ago and she was SO scared to ride it. And then before we even knew what was happening, she outgrew it before she even learned to ride. 🫠 It's the most $$ we have ever spent on something like this, definitely an investment, but the people who say their kids were riding in one day were not kidding!
Ooooh I haven't heard of the residence, will need to check that out. Brett and I watched a few eps of A man on the inside and then canceled Netflix when we trimmed our budget before we finished watching. I'll have to see if we can pick up where we left off!
The second season is good, too! I haven’t seen Your Friends and Neighbors. It came out right after we ended our Apple subscription! I’ll have to remember to watch it when we eventually resubscribe.
Obsessed with the fact that Gercia’s seeds also came to you by way of Molly!! And still so thankful that I picked ones that work 😉. I personally can’t wait to be inundated with zinnia pictures!
As if I would need any sort of incentive to hang out with you and talk flowers! Lol. A friend-date is for sure happening at the end of the summer! You’ll be planting your own seeds next year.
I loved this so much. I, too, can confirm that Gerica is not a serial killer!! She is a dear friend who let me hang out with her before I had kids of my own as I watched her effortlessly dominate motherhood (seriously, she’s one of the most patient moms I know), taught me to stan Daniel Tiger and introduced me to Coffee & Crumbs when I was pregnant with my first. She’s the best! This story made my day.
Cross pollinating across cities and countries - God is the best kind of filler in those moments where others are "miraculously thinking about it for me". That's the way it should be x

I, too, am eagerly anticipating the second season of DCC! Somewhat out of character but I heartily enjoyed it 😂

I’m glad to read that that another mom is excited for The Summer I Turned Pretty!
I am forever 16 years old in my heart 😜
Hahah yessss I’m doing a rewatch and have a lot of things to do say/vent about so my husband gets the brunt of my rants

Oh I haven't heard of that, I need to check out the trailer!
Anxiously awaiting my floret zinnias to bloom! They’re seeds from my kids’ school garden - the planning and prep from another woman, too.
Just finished Sirens on Netflix and loved it. The story telling was on par.
Yes! And I love Meghan Fahy! Such a weird, compelling show. I flew through it.
I’m so intrigued by the guardians bike! My daughter is too scared even on her regular bike with training wheels! Maybe this will help?

Thanks for linking the piece about your NYC trip. I liked reading about it & living vicariously!
Thanks for reading, Christina! It's such a fun series!
I love your zinnia story!
We just finished watching The Residence on Netflix. It's a delightful whodunnit, as is Ted Danson's show A Man on the Inside.

I second The Residence! Quirky dialogue and fantastic casting!
Thanks for the link love, friend!
I wasn't a fan of GBBL either. 🙃
Tell me you've watched Bad Sisters on Apple+. If you haven't, there's your show.
Here's a recipe for you—https://cupofjo.com/2025/06/04/marry-me-beans-recipe/
forgot to mention that I use coconut milk instead of heavy cream and serve it over rice - GF/DF!
I loved the first season but haven't seen anything after! Did you watch your neighbors and friends?!

We gotta get on the same streaming schedule 😜
Zinnia season is my favorite! For now, I’m patiently pulling the weeds, waiting for the blooms. 💐🌼
Come to Montana for pics?? Wheat fields! Big sky country! I’m not a serial killer! 😂😂
I have not watched The Gilded Age, but I do need a show to watch! I binged season two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives recently. 🫠🫣
Oh girl. I am COUNTING DOWN TO THE REUNION. I cannot look away! 🙃 Pictures in Montana would be incredible, I'll let you know if I'm ever in the area 🤣

I will pay you by way of cash or happy hour to teach me how to harvest my own!

I love zinnias too….they are the most cheerful, long lasting, colorful flowers!! The California heat never phases them, and they just keep on giving 🤩
Your zinnia garden! I’m obsessed with this backstory 🌼

And yes to the Guardian Bikes! Worth it!!
