Every single world of this Ashlee. And I don’t have the same choices about a business but I can’t even seem to make a choice about what to call my Substack when I finally write a word for it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Me: I should write that one essay this morning.

Decision fatigue. I have been feeling this for years and especially have felt it during 2022. I heard the comparison of a brain looking like an internet browser with 100 tabs open at all times. I have never heard a more accurate description of my brain and how overwhelmed I feel with the hundreds of decisions I make each and every day. But how does this change?! This world is loud and busy and endless options and choices are presented to us each and every day. How do I find a way to make less decisions? To have fewer tabs open in my brain? I hope I can start to answer this in 2023 and beyond.

Wow. This hits really hard for me. I’m naturally indecisive, so I’ve found that this impacts my creativity on a regular basis. I just didn’t put the pieces together until now. Thank you for sharing!
