Red lipstick forever. (Red nails too.) It’s something I wrote about in my next book. For me, for going on two decades, it has been the color I’ve chosen whenever I need a symbol of courage to show up fully as myself.
This is a recent favorite makeup brand for me too. I got so excited to see the code and your favs! It's time for more minimalist and I'm going to go for a red lip too. Tis the season!
I love this! I actually bought a red lipstick a couple months ago and I really think Sonya influenced me in the best way. I agree, red lipstick is a mindset. Also, loving the photos and the prism shot of the makeup!
Forever and always yes to a bold red lip. For a long time, my Monday uniform was all black with a red lip, and one of the saddest parts about all the masks during the pandemic was that 9 times out of 10, my pop of color in an outfit was lipstick… often red.
I’m a pretty big fan of most of my current makeup, but definitely thinking about giving the mascara a try!
I haven’t pulled mine out since the summer and I still haven’t figured them out (arg)! If I had any fancy makeup, this might be a good place to start. I blame rural life for lack of options to try things on. 🤣 I remember being at Sephora (probably for the first time) in San Diego in college, and I ended up getting that blush. And then I just never tried anything else. 🙈
I just ordered the flush balm & the minimalist! I haven't worn actual foundation in forever, but sometimes could use a little more coverage in some spots!
I ordered flush balm as a result of your first Merit post. I, too, am a Beverly Hills-er. And, so are 3 of my 6 daughters... you can guess what they are getting for Christmas, so that Beverly Hills can go back to belonging to me and me alone. :)
Just yesterday, 4 of my girls were sitting with me after school in my boss’s office. We were talking about clothes. One of our co-workers asked, “So, how does this work? Do y’all just have community property or what?” To which my 14 year old replied, “Yes, if it’s from Mom’s closet. Her closet is fair game.”
I suppose it’s not a bad thing that my teens are willing to “shop” in my closet and makeup. It’s certainly cheaper than shopping elsewhere.
